5-1/2 inch pierced pewter st. Benedict wall cross. Wall cross can be hanged with loop on top. Includes an elegant wall cross gift box. Center of wall cross has the stamped symbol of St. Benedict (see below for meaning). Bottom of the wall cross has the stamped St. Benedict cross (see below for meaning).

St. Benedict Symbol: The center of symbol is an image of St. Benedict. In his right hand he holds the cross, the Christian symbol of salvation. In St. Benedict's left hand is his rule for monasteries that could well be summed up in the words of the prologue exhorting us to "set out on this [Go's] way, with the Gospel for our guide." On a pedestal to the right of St. Benedict is the poisoned cup, shattered when he made the sign of the cross over it. On a pedestal to the left is a raven about to carry away the loaf of poisoned bread that a jealous enemy sent to St. Benedict.

St. Benedict Cross Symbol: The four large letters at the angles of the Cross: C S P B stand for: Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict)

The vertical beam of the Cross has five letters: C.S.S.M.L., meaning: Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux (May the holy Cross be for me a light)

The horizontal beam of the Cross also has five letters: N.D.S.M.D., meaning: Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (Let not the dragon be my guide)

Encircling the Cross in a circle around the right margin are these letters: V.R.S.N.S.M.V., meaning: Vade retro Satana; nunquam suade mihi vana(Begone Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things)

Around the left margin of the circle are these letters: S.M.Q.L.I.V.B., meaning: Sunt mala quae libas; ipse venena bibas (The drink you offer is evil; drink that poison yourself)

At the top of the circle is the word: PAX (Peace)

Shipping Methods and Transit Times:
We offer UPS, FEDEX and USPS carrier methods. Shipping transit time depends on destination and shipping method chosen. We do not Ship on Saturday and Sunday! For all special services such as Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3rd Day Air, except the transit time based on the offered service.

Shipping Costs:
Cost of Shipping are carrier published rates based on weight of the items, and the destination locations. The shipper's origin zip code is 10550. You can retrieve your shipping cost at checkout before making your purchase.

Tracking Numbers:
All Orders can be tracked Online. When you place your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation E-mail. When we have shipped your order, you will receive a second E-mail which is a Sent Confirmation E-mail with the tracking number link to track your order.

Returns
We guarantee all products to be free of manufacturing defects. Should you receive any item which becomes defective within a year of your purchase, we will replace the item at no charge or refund your order in full including shipping charges.

If you are not satisfied with your order, you have 30 days to return the product for a full refund or credit towards your next purchase of merchandise. A return authorization number is required prior to return. Contact us for a return authorization to be included with the item you are returning. You must also include a copy of your invoice(s) or your invoice number(s) along with your returned merchandise. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. We do not credit shipping charges on non-defective returned merchandise.

If your item(s) is engraved and/or personalized, the order is considered a final sale and we will not accept returns, unless there is a mistake on our part between the original message you provided compared to the message engraved on the item.

Promotional Item Terms
The value of promotional items purchased as part of an order will be subtracted from a refund's total should the regular-priced item purchased be returned. To illustrate, should a customer purchase $60.00 worth of product, add in a promotional item worth $2.50, and want to return the $60.00 of product, the $2.50 will be deducted from the order's final total (including taxes and shipping fees) unless the promotional item is also returned. The exception to this rule is solely if the item is received with defects. Please refer to our Payment and Return Policy for further information.
